what are the body cavities? the body cavities are the spaces with in the body that contain, protect, separate , and support the internal organs.

what cavity's are located in the back? the cranial cavity , the vertebral cavity, and it is called the dorsal cavity.
what the front cavity called? The ventral cavity
what cavity's are located in the front? the Ventral cavity, the thoracic cavity, the plural cavity, the pericardial cavity, mediastinum cavity, abdominopelvic cavity abdominal , pelvic
what are the three basic components of a feedback loop? Receptor, control center, effector
what is the definition of Receptor? body structure that monitors changes in the controlled condition and sends info. to a control center.
what is a example of receptor? nerve endings in the skin that sense temp. changes.
what is a example of receptor input? Nerve impulses, chemical signals, etc.
what is the definition of control center? sets range of values within which a controlled condition should be maintained, evaluates the input it receives from receptors, generates output commands when needed.
what is a example of control center output? info. in the form of nerve impulses , chemical signals that is sent from the control center to an effector.
what is the definition of Effector? body structure that receives output from a control center and produces a response or effect that changes controlled condition. most any organ or tissue group can act as an effector
