Fine Adjustment Knob Used to adjust the focus in small amounts
Revolving Nose Piece Used to change the objective lens in use
Objective Lens The first lens that magnifies the object
Arm Used to carry the microscope
Stage Clips Used to hold the slide
Stage Supports the specimen
Aperture Opening that allows light to enter the stage
Diaphragm Regulates amount of light hitting the slide
Light Provides direct light to the specimen
Base Used to carry the microscope
