Identifying Variable

Treatment Group the group to which everything is standard
Control Group the group(s) being tested with the independent variable
Variable something that changes
Constants all other variables that are not allowed to change during an experiment
Independent Variable what you change on purpose in your experiment
Dependent Variable the variable that responds (what you measure at the end)
Repeated Trials the number of times the experiment is repeated
Problem identify the problem (step one of scientific method)
Research Do research (step two of scientific method)
Hypothesis Write your hypothesis (step three of scientific method)
Analysis Analyze data (step five of scientific method)
Experiment Design and do your experiment (step four of scientific method)
Conclusion Draw a conclusion (step six of scientific method)
