what are the acitons of levator scapula? *Bi* extend the head and the neck*Uni* elevate the scapula downwardly rotate the scapula lat. flex the head and neck rotate the head and neck to the same side
what is the origin of trapezius? external occipital protuberance, medial portion of superior nuchal line of the occiput, ligamnetum nuchae and spinous processes of c7-t12
where does trapezius insert? lat. 1/3 of clavicle, acromion, and spine of the scapula
what are the actions of the upper traps? *bi* extend the head and neck*uni* lat, flex the head and neck to the same side, rotate the head and neck to the oppposite side

where does rhomboid minor insert? upper portion of medial border of the scapula, across from the spine

where does pec. major insert? crest of the greater tubercle of the humerus
what are the actions of pec. major? adduct and medially rotate the shoulderassist in elevating the thorax
what are the actions of pec. major? flex and horizontally adduct the shoulderexend the shoulder
what is the origin of the deltoid? lat. 1/3 of the clavicle, accromion and spine of the scapula
where does the deltoid insert? deltoid tuberosity
what are the actions of the deltoid? abduct, flex, medially rotate, lat. rotate, extend, and horizontally adduct the shoulder
