What are homophones? Words that sound the same but have different meanings

He wore a black bow with his suit. Does BOW mean to bend in respect, or a clothing item? A clothing item
I got a new pet bearded dragon! Does PET mean an animal you keep or to pat an animal? An animal you keep
She wore the ring her grandmother gave her. Does RING mean a piece of jewelry, or the sound a phone makes? A piece of jewelry
He had a tear on his cheek at the end of the movie. Does TEAR mean fluid from the eye or to rip something? Fluid from the eye
The bark was rough when I touched it. Does BARK mean a sound an animal makes or the outer covering of a tree? Outer covering of a tree
