Volume is the: Amount of space a substance takes up
Unit Labels of fluid Metric: kL. hL, daL, L, dL, cL, mL "King Henry Died Drinking Chocolate Milk"
Unit Labels of the English System: fl, oz, c, pts, qts, gals
Examples of Solid Metric/English volumes: Any DISTANCE unit with word CUBIC in front of it (ie cubic meter, cubic centimeter, cubic inch, cubic feet, etc.)

How do you measure solid volume (3 dimensional) l x w x h
How do measure the 3 distances? (l,w,h) A ruler (the unit label must be CUBED)
Solid Metric volume labels: km(cubed), hm(cubed), dam(cubed), m(cubed), dm(cubed), cm(cubed), mm(cubed)
Solid English volume labels: in(cubed), ft(cubed), yds(cubed), mi(cubed)
