Digital Design Photography lesson

TermDefinition
Point and Shoot camera designed primarily for simple operation
Focus an apparatus used to adjust the focal length of an optical system in order to make an image distinct or clear
Photo Bomb occurs when a third party interferes with a photo in a way that shifts the focus from the original subject(s)
Contrast difference in brightness between light and dark areas of a picture
Saturation refers to how vivid and intense a color is
Fill light used to reduce the contrast of a scene and provide some of illumination for the areas of the image that are in shadow
Crop refers to the removal of the outer parts of an image to improve framing, accentuate subject matter, or change aspect ration;to cut
Layer the term used to describe the different levels at which you can place an object or image file
Clarity quality of being clear
