Who sold us the Lousiana Territory and in what year? France sold us Louisiana Territory in 1803 for 15 Million dollars.
Why did Thomas Jefferson want Lewis and Clark to explore the Louisiana Territory? He wanted them to map the land, find water routes and land routes, discover new plants and animals, and record any new findings.
What were some of the difficulties that the expedition encountered? Unfriendly tribes Cold winters Rocky mountains Wild bears
How were Lewis and Clark able to get horses to cross the Rocky Mountains? Sacagawea's brother was the chief of the tribe and he gave them the horses.
Who was Antonio de Santa Anna? He was a general in the Mexican Army.
What happened at The Alamo in Texas? We were defeated at the Alamo by Anotino de Santa Anna. We later went back and won Texas when Santa Anna surrendered.
