Isometric muscular action in which tension is developed without contraction of the muscle
Synarthroses an immovably fixed joint between bones connected by fibrous tissue

Becker Muscular Dystrophy very similar to Duchenne muscular dystrophy, except that it gets worse at a much slower rate and it is less common
Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy form of muscular dystrophy that affects muscles and many other organs in the body
Facioscapulohumeral Dystrophy form of MD that affects the face, shoulder blades, and upper arms
Emery-Dreifuss Dystrophy condition that chiefly affects muscles used for movement (skeletal muscles) and heart (cardiac) muscle.
Osteosarcoma malignant tumor of bone in which there is a proliferation of osteoblasts
Osgood-Schlatter Disease and sometimes tearing of ligaments within the knee and lower leg
Osteoporosis bones become brittle typically as a result of hormonal changes, or deficiency of calcium or vitamin D
Hyperkyphosis excessive curvature of the thoracic spine
Hyperlordosis excessive inwards curvature of the lumbar (lower) spine, commonly referred to as swayback.
Scoliosis abnormal lateral curvature of the spine
Frozen Shoulder shoulder capsule (a sac of ligaments surrounding the joint) swells and stiffens, restricting its mobility
Baker Cyst fluid-filled cyst that causes a bulge and a feeling of tightness behind your knee
Gout arthritis, especially in the smaller bones of the feet
Dislocation injury or disability caused when the normal position of a joint or other part of the body is disturbed
Subluxation a partial dislocation
Dysplasia the enlargement of an organ or tissue by the proliferation of cells of an abnormal type
Lyme disease Inflammation caused by a tick
Osteoarthritis degeneration of joint cartilage and the underlying bone, most common from middle age onward
Patellofemoral Syndrome pain or discomfort seemingly originating from the contact of the posterior surface of the patella with the femur
Spondylolisthesis forward displacement of a vertebra
Spondylosis a painful condition of the spine resulting from the degeneration of the intervertebral disks
Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction A disorder of the temporomandibular joint(s) that causes pain
