Human Body

Homeostasis The process of your body's internal environment keeping stable in spite of changes in the external environment.
Circulatory System Carries needed substances to cells and carries waste products away from the cells.
Digestive System The system that breaks down food into molecules the body can use. The molecules are then absorbed into the blood and carried throughout the body.
Muscular System The system of body tissues that contract or shorten, making body parts move.
Respiratory System The system that moves oxygen from the outside environment into the body and removes carbon dioxide from the body.
Nervous System The system that receives information about your environment and process it. It directs the way your body responds to stimuli and helps maintain homeostasis.
Skeletal System The system that provides shape and support, enables you to move and protects your internal organs.
