chemical equation

what does chemical equation mean? A chemical equation is the symbolic representation of a chemical reaction wherein the reactant entities are given on the left-hand side and the product entities on the right-hand side
what does balance equation mean? Likewise, the charge is conserved in a chemical reaction. Therefore, the same charge must be present on both sides of the balanced equation.
what does unbalanced equation mean? Being able to balance chemical equations is a very important skill for students of chemistry, making this one of our most popular chemistry tutorials.
what does coefficient mean? a numerical or constant quantity placed before and multiplying the variable in an algebraic expression
what does subscript? In programming, a symbol or number used to identify an element in an array. Usually, the subscript is placed in brackets following the array name. For example, AR[5] identifies element number 5 in an array called AR.
what does product (chemistry) Product(s) are formed during chemical reactions as reagents are consumed. Products have lower energy than the reagents and are produced during the reaction according to the second law of thermodynamics.
what does element mean? a part or aspect of something abstract, especially one that is essential or characteristic.
what does fossil fuels means? a natural fuel such as coal or gas, formed in the geological past from the remains of living organisms.
what does carbon footprint? the amount of carbon dioxide and other carbon compounds emitted due to the consumption of fossil fuels by a particular person, group, etc.
what does reactants? a substance that takes part in and undergoes change during a reaction
what does catalyst mean? a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without itself undergoing any permanent chemical change.
