Diffusion -Passive -Uses no energy -Process that spreads substances through gas or liquid
Osmosis -type of diffusion -allows water to pass, but not solutes
Passive - Moves materials in and out of cells using NO energy - Moves from LOW to HIGH concentrations
Active -Uses energy - HIGH to LOW concentrations
Photosythes -the process in which plants use energy from the sun
Respiration -the process in which oxygen and suger combine to produce carbon and water while releasing store energy
Organs -two or more types of tissue that work together to perform a function
Tissue -group of cells with a common strcucture and funtion
Hormone -the chemical message that travels through the blood and carries special information for certian cells
