Ideogram | Picture that symbolizes an idea or action. |
Demotic | Egyptian language 'of the people.' (Gk. Demos = people) |
Papyrus | Reed along the Nile that was used as paper. |
Decipher | To decode. |
Hierarchy | Social classes; Upper, middle, lower |
