Why did the Romans call the invading tribes "barbarians"? The "barbarians" did not take baths, live in homes or cook their food like the Romans.
Name at least one of the invading barbarian tribes. Huns, Vandals, Goths, Visigoths or Ostrogoths were the names of the invading barbarian tribes.
What was the emperor Diocletian famous for? Diocletian divided the Roman Empire into two parts: the Western Roman Empire and the Eastern Roman Empire.
Diocletian divided the Roman Empire so that the two parts could better fight off invaders. Did this keep it strong and protected? No, the barbarians eventually conquered the Western Roman Empire anyway.
