ecosystem is all living and nonliving things in an area and their interactions
habitat is a place that provides all the things an organism need to live
biotic factors all the living things
abiotic factors all the nonliving things
population is a group of organisms of one species
community is made up of different types of species
niche is a role that is played to keep the organisms in shape
carrying community is the number of organisms that can live in a habitat
predator is the animals that hunts and eats another animals
prey is the animal that is being hunted
herbivores only eat plants
omnivores eat plants and animals
scavengers eat the already dead animals
decomposers get energy by braking down wasted and dead organisms
producers are organisms that can produce there own energy
consumers are organisms that can't produce there own energy
connivers only eat animals (meat)
food chain describes one way energy flows in a ecosystem
food web is a diagram that combines many food chains
symbiosis is a long-term relationship between two animals
parasites is a organism that live on or inside another organism
