Die, Survie, Move

QuestionAnswer
It hasn't rained in Lexington in many weeks. There is a drought and ponds are drying up. What happens to the fish in the pond? The fish will die.
The owner of a horse farm sprays pesticides on his plants to kill all the insects. What happens to the birds that eat insects? The birds will move away.
A mountain lion eats deer and other mammals. Hunters come in and overhunt the area. There are few or no deer left. What happens to the mountain lion? The mountain lions will survive by eating other mamals.
Tadpoles only eat small plants in the water. A farmer was spraying chemicals to get rid of weeds, and the chemicals also killed all the plants in the water. What happens to the tadpoles? The tadpoles will die.
Rabbits live in a meadow and eat grass and berries to survive. Berry farmers came and picked all the berries. What happens to the rabbits? The rabbits will survive by eating grass.
A spider only eats insects. Mrs. Catron sprayed around her house for small insects. What happens to the spiders around her house? The spiders will die.
The seals will survive by eating the squid.
An oil spill off the coast of Louisana killed many fish. What happens to some of the larger fish like sharks? The sharks will move away.
In a forest, what will happen to the small mammals such as squirrels, snakes, and rodents if there was a forest fire? The small mammals, squirrels, snakes, and rodents will die.
