TermDefenition
Volume The amount of space an object takes up.
Length The size of an object from up to down.
Width The size of an object from left to right.
Height How tall an object is.
Mass The amount of matter an object contains.
Density A physical property of matter.
Grams A metric unit used to measure the mass of an object.
Kilograms A metric unit used to measure the mass of an object.
Centimeters A customary unit of measurement.
Solid A physical property of matter with particles packed closely together.
Liquid Another physical property of matter with particles that aren't packed as close together. This allows the liquid to take the shape of it's container.
Gas Gas has no fixated structure and will take the shape of it's container, just like a liquid.
Matter Everything that we can see and touch.
Meniscus The curve in the water used in a graduated cylinder.
Graduated Cylinder A cylinder used to measure the volume of water.
