Story Elements Characters, Plot, THeme, Setting, and Conflict
Characters People or aniimals who take part in a story's action
Traits descrption of a person
Theme is the central message expressed in a story
Plot is the sequence of events in a short story
Exposition introduces the setting- the time and place of the story, the character, and the basic situation
Rising Action introduces the conflict, or problem
Climax is the turning point of a story
Falling Action is the part of a story when the confflict lessens
Resolution is the stor's conclusions
Conflict a problem between human beigns
*Man vs man a conflict between two human beigns
*man vs society a conflict between a human beign and the rest of them
*man vs. nature a conflict between a human and the earth
*man vs. supernatural a conflict between a human and something more powerful
*man vs. self a conflict between a human beign with itself
Point of View a place from where you are analizing something
Fable are brief stories featuring animals that speak and act like humans
Folk Tale tell stories about ordinary people
