Real image | Image created by a convex lens when projected onto a screen or film |
Transmitted | Light that passes through an object |
TV and Radio | Waves that have the lowest frequency of radiant energy |
Near sighted | When you cannot see distant objects clearly |
Regular reflection | Reflection creating a clear image produced by a smooth surface |
Gama rays | Most dangerous form of radiant energy |
Plane mirror | Type of mirror where the reflecting surface is flat |
Absorbed | Light that is trapped and may create heat |
Frequency | Number of waves past by in a second |
Retractions | The change in the speed of light and bending of light as it passes through different mediums |
Concave | Type of lens that corrects nearsightedness |
Translucent | Material that lets only some of the light go through |
Wavelength | Distance between crest to crest of a light wave |
Crest | High point of a light wave |
Visible spectrum | Radiant Energy you can see |
Vacuum | Space with little or no matter |
Far sighted | When you cannot see close objects clearly |
Reflected | Light that bounces off an object |
Irregular | Type of reflection produced by a rough surface |
Transparent | Object where all the light is transmitted |
Convex | Type lens that corrects farsightedness |
Laser | Thin intense beam of light |
