Describe the mythic-literal stage of 7 to 12 years. Private world of fantasy and wonder; symbols refer to something specific; dramatic storesi and myths used to communicate spiritual meaning.
Describe the synthetic conventional stage of an adolescent or adult. World and ultimate environment structured by the expectations and judgements of others; interpersonal focus
Describe the individuating-reflexive stage after 18 years of age. Constructing one's own explicit system; high degree of self-consciousness.
Describe the paradoxical-consolidative phase after 30 years. Awareness of truth from a variety of viewpoints.
Describe the universalizing stage that most people never reach Becoming an incamation of the principle of love and justice.
