What is the definition of a protagonist? The main character(s) of a story.
What is the definition of an antagonist? The adversary, opponent, or force that acts as the source of the conflict for the protagonist.
What is the definition of the exposition? The beginning of a story. It introduces the characters, the time period, and the setting.
What is the definition of internal conflict? A problem that a character struggles with within himself/herself.
What is the definition of external conflict? A problem caused by forces outside of the character's control that he/she has to deal with.
