Can DOMS be prevented? | YES! if relaxing massage received within 2 hours after event. - Long relaxing effleurage strokes. |
Post-event massage goals? | > reduce muscle tension - > minimize swelling and soreness - > encourage relaxation - > reduce recovery time |
