Chameleon Effects Mimicking others expressions to know how they are feeling
Mood Linkage Sharing up and down moods

Normative Influence Resulting from a persons desire to gain approval or avoid disapproval
Informative Social Influence Resulting from ones willingness to accept others opinions about reality
Social Facilitation Presence of others boosts performance
Social Loafing Diminished effort by individuals when given a task as a group. People exert less effort.
Dendividuation Less self- conscious and less retrained in group situation
Group Polarization Difference within the group tend to amplify as time goes on
Groupthink Desire for "harmony" or need for solution overrides realistic approach to alternatives
Altruism Unselfish regard for the welfare of others
Social Exchange Theory Idea that we automatically weigh our odds, with one constant goal of maximizing rewards
Agression Any physical or verbal behavior inteded to hurt or destroy
Social Learning Theory Learn social behavior by observing, irritating, and being rewarded or punished
