artery | a blood vessel that carries oxygenated blood away from the heart |
vein | a blood vessel that carries deoxygenated blood back to the heart |

esophagus | tube made of smooth muscle that brings food from mouth to stomach |
small intestine | where capillaries take out nutrients to bring to body cells |
large intestines | where waste is eliminated and capillaries take out water to be brought to kidneys and cleaned |
bladder | holds urine until it's released |
heart | pumps blood throughout the body |
lungs | bring in oxygen and get rid of carbon dioxide |
vertebrae or backbone | support the body to stand |
