Factors Affecting Training

Genectic Make-up Body size, percentage of muscle fibre types, and capacity of the cardiovascular system are affected to some extent by heredity.
Age There is a decline in a number of physiological functions with age. They include cardio respiratory efficiency, maximal heart rate, muscle mass, strength, speed and agility. An active, healthy lifestyle aids in slowing down the aging process.
Gender Women generally have a lower aerobic capacity and muscle mass than men. Men usually have a lower percentage of body fat and less flexibility than women.
