Acceptable Use Policies A list of rules explaining what you may or may not do with the information, website,or program
Intellectual Property Anything a person has written, drawn, or created from their own ideas (Examples: books, art, websites, songs)
Copyright Laws Laws created to protect peoples products such as books or songs so they are not copied or stolen
Ethical Use following rules or doing the right thing
Computer Hacking gaining access to online information without permission
piracy someone copies computer software or other digital information without permission
computer virus this ruins files or the hard drive on your computer; it usually begins by opening an infected email
invasian of privacy accessing someones private information without permission
citation cite an origginal work to give credit to the person or people whose idea you are using
cyber bullying the use of the internet and related technologies to harm or harass other people, in a deliberite, repeated, and hostile manner
