Why is there a limited ammount of material to study from the Mesoamericans and South Americans? There was little written down to learn from
How did the states in the Americas develop in the post-classical era? Established a large standing army, made a capital city and center of trade, and maintained close relations and alliances with their neighbors
What new innovations affected agriclture in the post-classical era? Aztecs developed Chinampas style of agriculture
What new trade networks deveolped in this era? Trade between the Mexicans, Aztecs, and mayans sprung up, and alliances were formed with smaller groups of people to include them in the trade networks
How did post-classical trade affect the diffusion of literary, artistic, and cultural traditions? Trade carried their cultural marks and traditions throughout the land, and diffused to everyone that was a part of the trade networks there. This includes their forms of art, language, and other cultural similarities
