Probability the likelyhood an event will occur
Homozygous having 2 identical alleles for a trait
Heterozygous having 2 different alleles for a trait
Codominance a condition in which neither of 2 alleles of a gene is dominant or recessive
Genotype an organisms genetic make up, or allele combinations
Punnette Square a chart that shows all the possible combinations of alleles that can result from a genetic cross
Phenotype an organisms physcal appearance, or visible traits
Trait a characteristic that an organism can pass onto its offspring through its genes
Purbred an organism that always produces offspring with the same form of trait as the parent
Hybrid an organism that has 2 different alleles for a trait
