Habitat | The place where an organism lives. |
Living | Things that need water, oxygen, sunlight, mating partner etc. |
Non- Living | Such as; wind, light, and temperature etc. |
Population | A group of organisms of the same species which all live in the same habitat |
Adaptation | Survival to their habitats. |
Environment | Is used to describe all of the conditions in a habitat. |
Ecology | The study of interactions between organism and their environment. |
Ecologist | Scientists that study ecology. |
Community | When two or more groups of organism live together and interact with each other in the same habitat. |
Ecosystem | The community of living things in a particular habitat. |
Interdependent | The living things in the ecosystem. |
Symbiosis | Living together. |
Commensalism | When two organisms interact where only one of them is benefited, but the host is unaffected. |
Mutualism | If two organisms interact and both of them are benefited. |
Parasitsm | When one species lives on or in another species and the other species provides the one that’s living on it with food and shelter; but often gets harmed in return. |
Parasite | Species that live on or in another species. |
Host | Species that is being lived on or in by other species. |
