What does Law of Conservation mean? The law stating that in a chemical reaction, matter is neither gained nor lost.
What does Physical Change mean? A change from one state (solid or liquid or gas) to another without a change in chemical composition
What does Chemical Change mean? Any process determined by the atomic and molecular composition and structure of the substances involved
What does Element mean? A Substance that cannot be broken down into simpler substances.
What does Chemical Formula mean? An expression which states the number and type of atoms present in a molecule of a substance.
What does Element(Diatomic) molecule mean? The smallest particle of a substance that retains the chemical and physical properties of the substance and is composed of two or more atoms; a group of like or different atoms held together by chemical forces.
What does Compound Molecule mean? A compound regarded as a union of molecules retaining their identities
What does Chemical Change mean? A representation of a chemical reaction using symbols of the elements to indicate the amount of substance, usually in moles, of each reactant and product
What does Chemical Reaction mean? Process in which one or more substances are changed into others
What does Reactant mean?(In a chemical equation) A substance that participates in a chemical reaction, especially a substance that is present at the start of the reaction
What does Products mean?(In a chemical equation) A product is a substance that is formed as the result of a chemical reaction.
What does Coefficient mean?(In a chemical equation The number of molecules of reactants or products.
What does Subscript mean?(In a chemical equation) Indicate the ratio of elements
What does Diatomic Molecule mean? A molecule that contains two atoms.
