what is a eighth note? a not that receives 1/2 beat of silence
What is a eighth rest? a rest that receives 1/2 a beat of silence
what is the Major tonic triad? Do, Mi, So; built on the 1, 3, 5 notes of the major scale
what is a Interval? the distance between two notes
What is a Tie? ties two notes of the same tone together making them one.
What is a dotted quarter note? a note that receives 1 1/2 beats of sound
what is the Minor Tonic Triad? La, Do, Mi; built on the 1,3,5 notes of the minor scale.
