competition | the struggle between origanism to survive as they attempt to use the same limited resources |
predation | an interaction in one organism kills another for food |
predator | the organism that dose the killing |
prey | the organism that is killed |
symbiosis | a close relationship in which both species benefit |
mutualism | a relationship in which both species benefit |
commensalism | a relationship in which one species benifits and the other is neither helped of harmed |
parasitism | involves one organism living on or inside another organism and harming it |
parasite | the organism that benefits |
host | the organism it lives on or in |
