prime numbers | Numbers that are greater than one with exactly two distinct factors, 1 and the number itself. |
composite numbers | Numbers that have more than two distinct factors. |
multiplicative identity | The number 1. When it is multiplied by a second number, the product is the second number. |
divisibility rules | Tests for determining whether one positive whole number is divisible by another. |
