adjacent angles | two angles that share a vertex and a side but no points in their interiors. |
angle bisector | a ray that divides a given angle into two congruent angles, each half the size of the given angle. |
irregular polygons | a polygon in an irreguler shape. |
midpoint | halfway between the endpoints. |
parallelogram | a quadrilateral with both pairs of opposite sides parallel. |
perpendicular bisector | a line, segment, or ray that is perpendicular to a segment at its midpoint. |
plane | a flat surface that has no thickness & extends without end in the directions of all the lines it contains. |
quadrilateral | a polygon with 4 sides. |
regular polygon. | a polygon with all its sides congruent and all its angle congruent. |
segment | part of a line, two endpoints. |
segment bisector | a line, segment, or ray that seperates a segment into two congruent segments. |
skew lines | lines in space that do not intersect and are not parallel. they do not lie in the same plane. skew segments must be parts of a skew line. |
