What is an ion? | a charged atom or molecule |
How does an atom become an ion? | loosing electrons (positive) gaining electrons (negative) |
What is an isotope? | has the same atomic number but different mass number |
What is the relative atomic mass? | average weight of a number of isotopes |
What is a covalent bond? | overlap of 2 half filled negative electron pair clouds held together by the common attraction to 2 positive nuclei!!!! OOooohhhh yeeeaaah! |
