verticle line test | if any verticle line passes through no more than 1 point of the graph of a relation, the relation is a function |
x-axis | the horizontal number line |
x-coordinate | the first number in an ordered pair |
y-axis | the verticle number line |
y -coordiante | the second number in an ordered pair |
use a table | a problem-solving strategy that uses tables to organize and problem solve |
