Cartesian Coordinate Plane | Composed of the x-axis and the y-axis which meet at the origin it is divided into four quadrants. |
X&Y Axis | The Horizontal & Vertical line that helps to form the coordinate plane. |
Origin | The point (0,0) at which the axes of a coordinate plane |
Quadrants | The four regions into which two perpendicular lines separate the plane |
Relation | A set of ordered pairs |
Domain & Range | The set of all coordinates in an ordered pair. Domain is the first number and range is the second. |
Mapping | Shows how each member of the domain is paired with each member of the range. |
Function | A special type of relation in which each element of the domain is paired with exactly one element from the range. |
