| Term | Definition |
| Vertical Angles | A pair of opposite congruent angles formed by intersecting lines. |
| Supplementary Angles | Angles whose measures have a sum of 180° |
| Straight Angle | An angle that measures exactly 180° |
| Right Angle | An angle that measures exactly 90° |
| Congruent Angle | Angles that have the same measure |
| Acute Angle | An angle that measures less than 90° |
| Adjacent Angles | Angles in the same plane that have a common vertex and a common side but do not measure the same. |
| Obtuse Angles | An angle that measures more than 90° |
| Complementary Angles | Two angles whose measures add up to 90° |
| Perimeter | The length around a 2D shape. |
| Area | The amount of 2D space taken up by an object. |
| Diameter | A line segment that goes through the center of a circle. |
| Volume | The amount of 3D space occupied by a figure. |
| Surface Area | The area needed to cover a 3D object |
| Ray | A line that has an endpoint and extends in one direction. |
| Radius | The distance from the center of a circle to a point on the circle. |
