digital footprint	A digital footprint is the trail of data that is left behind by users on digital services.
cookies	They are small digital files that are left on your computer that track your movement on the internet.
Geolocation	the process or technique of identifying the geographical location of a person or device by means of digital information processed via the internet.
Metadata	a set of data that describes and gives information about other data
data	facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis
spreadsheet	an electronic document in which data is arranged in the rows and columns of a grid and can be manipulated and used in calculations
browser history	the list of web pages a user has visited recently, as well as associated data such as page title and time of visit, which is recorded by web browser software as standard for a certain period of time
digital literacy	having the skills you need to live, learn, and work in a society where communication and access to information is increasingly through digital technologies like internet platforms, social media, and mobile devices.
blog	a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style.
dossier	a collection of documents about a particular person, event, or subject.
Derogatory	showing a critical or disrespectful attitude.
Social Networking	the use of dedicated websites and applications to interact with other users, or to find people with similar interests to oneself.
Viral	relating to or involving an image, video, piece of information, etc., that is circulated rapidly and widely from one internet user to another.
profile	an outline of something, especially a person's face, as seen from one side.
Privacy Settings	controls available on many social networking and other websites that allow users to limit who can access your profile and what information visitors can see.
