| Anatomy | The STUDY of the structure of an organism and the relationships of its parts. |
| Physiology | The SCIENCE that deal with the functions of the living organisms and its parts. |
| Ionic bond | The strong electrostatic force that binds the positively and negatively charged ions together in a crystal. |
| Catabolism | Chemical reactions that break down relatively complex compounds into simpler ones and also release energy from them. |
| Golgi apparatus | A membranous organelle consisting of separating tiny sacs, or cisternae, stacked on one another and located near the nucleus. |
| Nucleus | One of the largest cell structures and usually occupies the central portion of the cell. |
| Skin(Cutaneous membrane) | A sheet-like organ that covers the body and acts as a barrier between the internal and external environment. |
| Dermal papillae | Thin superficial layer of the dermis forms bumps that protect into the epidermis. |
| Ligaments | Fibrous bands that help hold various bones together into an organized skeleton. |
| Long bone | Easily identified by their shape that is longer than it is wide. |
