Antagonist | The person or force that fights againstthe hero or protaginst in a story. |
Character | A person or an animal that performs the action in a story. |
Characterization | The ways in which a writer makes a character seem real. |
Conflict | A problem or stuggle between two opposing forces in a story. There are five basic types of conflicts. |
Dialogue | The words that characters speak to each other. Dialougue is set off with quotation marks. |
Main Character | The most important character in a story, novel,or play. piece of lierature may have more than one main character. |
