| factor | a number multiplied by another number that produces a given number |
| round | to alter a number to a less exact but more convenient number |
| unit fraction | a fraction with a one in the numberator |
| equivalent | equal value |
| whole number | a number without fractions |
| numerator | the top number of a fraction that shows the part of the whole |
| denominator | bottom number of the fraction that show the whole |
| estimation | a good close answer |
| multiples | a number that can be divided by another number without a remainder |
| prime | a number, larger than one, divisible by 1 and itself Ex. 2,3,5,7,11 |
