Angle | Two rays sharing a common endpoint. Angles are usually measured in degrees or radians. |
Point | The geometric figure formed at the intersection of two distinct lines. |
Square | A rectangle with all four sides of equal length. |
Rectangle | A parallelogram having four right angles. |
Cube | A regular polyhedron for which all faces are squares. |
Polyhedron | A solid with no curved surfaces or edges. All faces are polygons and all edges are line segments. |
Circle | A closed plane curve consisting of all points at a given distance from a point within it called the center. |
Sphere | A solid geometric figure generated by the revolution of a semicircle about its diameter, a round body whose surface is at all points equidistant from the center. |
Rhombus | A parallelogram with four congruent sides. Note: The diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular. A square is a special kind of rhombus. |
Trapezoid | A quadrilateral which has a pair of opposite sides which are parallel. The parallel sides are called the bases, and the other two sides are called the legs. |
