X-intercept | a coordinate where a graph intersects the x-axis |

proprtion | a mathematical phrase that states two ratios are equal |
similar | when two figures have the same shape but not necessatily the same size |
geometric sequence | when a sequence has a common ratio |
arithmetic sequence | when a sequence have a common differnce |
negative correlation | when the x- variable increases as the y- variable decreases |
positive correlation | when the x-variable increases as the y-variable increases |
