Term | Definition |
Equation | A statement that the values of two mathematical expressions are equal. |
Equivalent Equation | Equation that have the same solution. |
Multi-Step Equation | An equation or inequality that requires two or mare step to solve. |
Consecutive Integers | Follow each other in order. |
Identities | The fact of being who or what a thing is. |
Literal Equations | Variables represents known values. |
Inequality | Relation between two expressions that are not equal. |
Compound Inequality | Sentence with two inequality joined by the word "or" and "and". |
Intersection | A point or line common to lines or surfaces that intersect. |
Union | The action or fact of joining or being joined. |
Deviation | Amount by which a single measurement differs. |
Outlier | Doesn't fit in with the group of numbers. |
Absolute Value | Magnitude of real numbers without regard to it's sign. |
