Algebraic Expression | A combination of variables, numbers, and at least one operation. |
Area | The number of square units needed to cover the surface enclosed by a geometric figure. |
Base | Any side of a parallelogram. |
Composition Number | A number greater than 1 with more than 2 factors. |
Cubed | The product in which a number is a factor 3 times. Two cubed is 8 because 2*2*2=8. |

Order of Operation | The rule that tells which operation to perform first when more than one operation is used. |

Prime Factorization | A composite number expressed as a product of prime numbers. |
Prime Number | A whole number that has exactly two unique factors, 1 and the number itself. |
Solution | The value with a variable that makes an equation true. |
Solve | To replace a variable with a value that results in a true sentence. |
Squared | A number multiplied by itself. |
Variable | A symbol, usually a letter, used to represent a number. |
