Chemical Change. | A usually irreversible chemical reaction involving the rearrangement of the atoms of one or more substances and a change in their chemical properties or composition, resulting in the formation of at least one new substance. |
Element (Diatomic) Molecule. | Molecules composed only of two atoms, of either the same or different chemical elements. |
Compound Molecule. | The molecule is the smallest unit of a compound. |

Element. | A pure substance composed of only one type of atom. |
Chemical Reaction. | Interactions in which atoms exchange or share electrons, forming new chemicals. |
Reactants. | A molecule which enters into a chemical reaction. |
Products. | A molecule which is formed as a result of a chemical reaction. |
