Question
Answer
What happens to molecules and Atoms when they are heated?   They more more rapidly against each other and expand.
🗑
What happens to molecules and Atoms when they are cooled?   The more slower and compress back together.
🗑
What do liquide, solid, and gasses have in common?   They all have molecules and atoms.
🗑
What is Chemistry?   The study of matter.
🗑
What is matter made up of?   Matter is made up of atoms and molecules.
🗑
Anything that has matter__________   takes up space.
🗑
What is a atom?   The building block of all matter.
🗑
What is a molecule?   A molecule is made of two or more atoms connected or bonded together.
🗑
On Earth what is matter found in?   Liquides, solids and gasses.
🗑
Are gas molecules attracted to each other.   No not at all.
🗑
In a solid, Because of this strong attraction, the atoms are held tightly together. The attractions are strong enough that the atoms can only vibrate where they are. They cannot move past one another. This is why a solid keeps its shape.
🗑
In a liquid The attractions between the molecules in liquids are strong enough to keepthe molecules close to each other but not in fixed positions. Although the molecules stay very near one another, the attractions allow the molecules of a liquid to move
🗑
In a gas, molecules are also moving. Attractions between the molecules of a gas are weak to bring molecules together. This is why gas molecules barely interact with one another/ are very far apart compared to the molecules of liquids and solids. gas spr

Review the information in the table. When you are ready to quiz yourself you can hide individual columns or the entire table. Then you can click on the empty cells to reveal the answer. Try to recall what will be displayed before clicking the empty cell.

To hide a column, click on the column name.

To hide the entire table, click on the "Hide All" button.

You may also shuffle the rows of the table by clicking on the "Shuffle" button.

Or sort by any of the columns using the down arrow next to any column heading.
If you know all the data on any row, you can temporarily remove it by tapping the trash can to the right of the row.
