| Translation | a transformation of a figure described as a slide
🗑
| Reflection | a transformation of a figure described as a flip

| Rotation | a transformation of a figure described as a turn
🗑
| Scale Factor | common multiplicative ratio between pairs of related data which may be represented by a unit rate
🗑
| Similar Shapes | shapes whose corresponding angles are congruent and corresponding sides are proportional
🗑
| Dilation | an enlargement or reduction on a figure using a scale factor. The new shape is similar and in proportion to the original shape.
🗑
| Center of Dilation | a coordinate point that serves as the focal point for generating a dilation
🗑
| Orientation | figure preserves the way it looks
🗑
| Congruency | the figure preserves its size
🗑
| Reflection of the X-Axis | ((x, -y)
🗑
| Reflection over the Y-Axis | (-x, y)
🗑
| 90* Counterclockwise/270* CW | (-y, x)
🗑

| 180* | (-x, -y)
🗑
| Example of Enlargement | (2x,2y)
🗑
| Example of Reduction | (1/2 x, 1/2 y)
