Arithmetic Sequences

Arithmetic Sequence   A number sequence formed by adding a fixed number to each previous term to find the next term.

Discrete   A graph composed of isolated points. The domain consists of specific values such as integers or natural numbers.

Domain   The set of input values for which the function is defined. x-values.

Explicit Formula   Expresses the nth term of a sequences in terms of n.

Function   A relationship where each input is related to exactly one output.

Integers   The set of whole numbers and their opposites and zero.

Recursive Formula   Defines the terms in a sequence by relating each term to the ones before it. It is composed of an initial value and a rule for generating the sequence.
